Maham Hameed is a research fellow at the Graduate Institute of Development Studies. Her primary research field is Economic History. Maham received her Master of Science degree in Comparative Studies in History and Society from Koç University in 2017. Before that, she completed her Undergraduate in Sociology/Anthropology from Lahore University of Management Sciences. She has worked on regionalism and civil-military relations in Pakistan, dispossession politics of infrastructural projects, and history of agrarian relations in Pakistan.  Her article, “The politics of the China―Pakistan economic corridor”, has appeared in Palgrave Communications.
